About us

Lidcombe Public School seeks to foster educational growth through collaborative teamwork characterised by open communication and continuous improvement. What our school song means

Forward - Our official school motto. The concept of always moving forward and a relentless commitment to improvement.

Learning in Harmony - Our unofficial school motto. Acknowledgement of our school's capacity to work together as a team, taking into account diversity within the team, such as religion, culture, ability, disability, gender, and age. Students, staff and the community working together.

'United on Australian Soil ' - We have 90% students from a language background other than English in our school. The choice of traditional Australian music and the words 'united on Australian soil' acknowledge our Australian identity whilst still acknowledging the diversity of our student population.

Learning, respect, safety - The keys to expected student behaviour at Lidcombe, ie 'Being Green'
